St. Clair Volleyball Preview Jan 26-27 2018 – Huge Weekend at Home
The St. Clair College women’s and men’s volleyball teams will continue their OCAA home schedules this weekend at the Sportsplex with a pair of huge matches on Friday night and Saturday afternoon.
The women will take to the floor on Friday night against the Niagara College Knights at 6 pm. St. Clair is currently 9-4 on the season and ranked 3rd in Ontario and 15th in Canada. Niagara is 7-5 and ranked 6th in Ontario. The Knights defeated the Saints 3-2 on November 18 in Welland in an exciting match with Niagara winning the 5th set 16-14. On Saturday the Saints will host the Redeemer Royals at 1 pm. Redeemer’s record on the season is 3-10. St. Clair defeated the Royals 3-0 in Ancaster on November 17th.
The men will take to the floor on Friday night against the Niagara College Knights at 8 pm. St. Clair is currently 8-5 on the season and ranked 6th in Ontario. Niagara is 6-6 and ranked 7th in Ontario. The Knights defeated the Saints 3-2 on November 18 in Welland in an exciting match back and forth match. On Saturday the Saints will host the Redeemer Royals at 3 pm. The Royals are ranked 3rd in Ontario and 9th in Canada. Redeemer’s record on the season is 10-3. St. Clair lost to the Royals 3-0 in Ancaster on November 17th.
