St. Clair Women’s Volleyball Defeat Fanshawe

The St. Clair College women’s volleyball team improved their OCAA record to 12-4 on the season with a huge win over the Fanshawe Falcons on Thursday night at the Sportsplex.

The Saints took down the Falcons by a score of 3-0.   Game scores for St. Clair were 25-21, 25-18 and 25-22.   Te-Anna Stephenson (Whitby) led the way offensively with 12 kills, 2 stuff blocks, 1 service ace and 8 digs.  Jessica Masse (Cottam) also had a solid match with 6 kills on 14 attempts along with 1 stuff block, 1 service ace and 1 digs. Libero Julie Ann Milling (Woodstock) had a great defensive match with 14 digs. The St. Clair women are currently ranked 3^rd in Ontario and 15^th in Canada. The loss dropped ’s Fanshawe’s record to 12-3. The Falcons were ranked 2^nd  in the OCAA and in 12^th in Canada heading into the match.

The women are next in action on Friday, February 10 when they host the Mohawk Mountaineers at the Sportsplex at 6 pm
