TYLER GARCIA NETS HAT TRICK FOR KINGSVILLE KINGS

Four games in five nights did not hinder the performance of the hard-working blue collar Kingsville Kings Wednesday night against the host Northcumberland Stars.

The Kings won 5-1, increasing its Greater Metro Junior ‘A’ Hockey League record to 10-2-0-1.

Winning their eighth straight, Kingsville was led by centre Tyler Garcia with a hat trick. He now has 10 on the season, five of those on the powerplay. Marvin Simmons added the other two and goalie Justin Lalonde turned away 31 shots.

On Monday, Kingsville was in Komoka for an afternoon game and won 4-2.

It will be another big test this Sunday at 3 p.m when the Kings host St. George which handed Kingsville one of their two losses this year.
