The St. Clair Saints volleyball teams have a pair of huge games at home this weekend at the Sportsplex in their hunt for the OCAA playoffs.

The women will take to the floor at 6 pm on Friday against the Mohawk Mountaineers. The St. Clair women are currently 7-6 on the season and in 4th place in the very competitive OCAA West Division while Mohawk is 5-8 and sitting in 8th place. The Saints defeated Mohawk 3-0 (25-18, 26-24, 25-16) in Hamilton on November 7th. The St. Clair women will then host the Conestoga Condors on Sunday afternoon at 1 pm. Conestoga is currently in 9th place with a record of 1-12. The Saints beat the Condors 3-1 (25-17, 26-24, 26-28, 25-18) in Kitchener on November 29. The St. Clair women are currently ranked 9th in the OCAA.

The men will host Mohawk at 8 pm on Friday. The Saints are currently 3-10 on the season and in 8th place while the Mountaineers are 10-3 and sitting in 2nd place.  Mohawk is currently ranked 3rd in Ontario and 9th in Canada. St. Clair fell to the Mountaineers 3-0 (25-20, 25-14, 25-19) on November 7th in Hamilton. Saints volleyball will take on Conestoga Sunday at 3 pm at the Sportsplex. The Condors are also 3-10 and tied for 8th place with the Saints. St. Clair lost to the Condors by a 3-1 (19-25, 25-15, 25-21, 25-21) on November 29 in Kitchener.
