The Windsor Clippers closed out the pre-season going 2-1 at the Elora Spring Invitational tournament.

In the opening game the Clippers edged the Owen Sound North Stars 7-6. Patrick Kaschalk scored four times for the Clippers while Chase Kavanaugh added a pair. Josh Jubenville closed out the scoring. Logan Holmes recorded five assists. Brayden Bell recorded the win in goal for the Clippers.

In the second game the Clippers defeated the Halton Hills Bulldogs 7-4. Logan Holmes and Andrew Garant scored two goals apiece. Singles were scored by Noah Bushnell, Ryan Marchand and Alex Mayhead. Holmes also had 4 assists and Garant had 3. Mike Cameron recorded the win in goal for the Clippers.

In the final game of the day the Clippers fell 10-4 to the Oakville Buzz. Andrew Garant scored twice while Chase Kavanaugh and Logan Holmes each scored one. Mike Cameron suffered the loss in goal for the Clippers.

The Clippers will now trim the roster down to 21 runners and 2 goaliesfor the season opener.

The Clippers open the regular season on April 24th with a trip to Wallaceburg. Following the Wallaceburg game the Clippers will be on the road to London and Niagara on the Lake on April 29th and 30th before returning for the May 7th home opener against the Welland Warlords
