Windsor Express Family Day Extravaganza

The President and CEO of the Windsor Express, Dartis Willis, has announced a day of free family friendly fun and activities scheduled for February 20. Family Day events will feature a Parents vs Kids basketball camp to be held prior to tip-off.

The title sponsor for the special day is Joe Fallea of Re/Max in partnership with Transition to Betterness (T2B) and the Windsor Express. Additionally, the events are made possible by the generous contributions of Mucci Farms, the WFCU Credit Union, the Dairy Farmers of Ontario, and Ives Insurance.

The Windsor Express will host the London Lightning in a free Family Day game tipping off at 2pm. Tickets will be available from the WFCU Arena box office in person only on 15, 16, and 18 February from 11am until 8pm, 17 February from 2pm until 7pm, and on the day of the game from 11am until 2pm.

“Family Day allows us to reflect on the importance of spending quality time with our loved ones and feel appreciative for the deep bonds and connections we share with one another,” Willis said. “With the support of community partners, we hope to share a message of unity within the Windsor-Essex community and provide a free game to all families.”

This season marks the 10th year the Express has been playing in the National Basketball League of Canada. This achievement wouldn’t be possible without the continued support of the residents and
businesses of Windsor and Essex County.
