World Class Squash Comes To Windsor August 15 To 21, 2022

The past, present and future of squash will converge in Windsor, Ontario from August 15 to 21 at Devonshire Mall as the Squash Canada all-glass Power Court will play host to a series of exciting and important events to showcase our sport.

The Jahangir Khan Cup pairs with PSA Challenger Circuit event will be a first for Windsor-Essex, modelled after successful events in other regions. The goal of this exciting public celebration is to bring world-class squash to Windsor while providing critical development opportunities for Squash Canada’s Senior, NextGen and Junior athletes on their home soil.

The week will kick off with Women’s and Men’s 3K Satellite events being held on the Power Glass Court prominently installed in Windsor’s largest shopping centre, the Devonshire Mall, and at the Windsor Squash and Fitness Club from August 15th – 17th. The JK Windsor Open Women’s 6K PSA Challenger will follow from August 18th – 21st, currently headlined by Canadian #4 Nikole Todd (SK) as our #1 seed.

The week will be capped off by the inaugural JK Windsor Cup Men’s Invitational featuring top PSA stars WR #8 Mazen Hesham and WR#9 Marwan El Shorbagy of Egypt, WR #13 Gregoire March of France, WR #16 Miguel Rodriguez of Colombia, WR #31 Shahjahan Khan of the USA and top Canadians Nick Sachvie, Shawn Delierre and Mike McCue who will play in a 16 person draw with qualifying NextGen players from the Satellite competition.
