The Windsor Spitfires will be submitting a Letter of Intent and Standard Bid Application to host the 2017 MasterCard Memorial Cup later this week, as required by the Ontario Hockey League and Canadian Hockey League appointed deadline of February 10th, 2016.

From there, the organization will follow the outlined process and will await the announcement on March 2nd to see if the Spitfires have been chosen to make a formal bid presentation on April 18th in Toronto.

At the end of the day, if we are selected to present, we will take our experience from previous bid applications, along will all our resources and efforts to represent our city, fans and organization to the selection committee – Spitfires President Bob Boughner.
