Express Add 2015 League MVP Quinnel Brown to Final Roster
As the final day of the 2016 Training Camp comes to a close, the Windsor Express have announced the final roster for the upcoming 2016-17 NBL Canada season.
The announcement is two-fold, as the Express are also very pleased to announce that they have signed forward Quinnel Brown.
Brown played two seasons in Windsor from 2013-2015 and was an integral piece to those championship winning teams. Brown was named the 2015 NBL Canada league Most Valuable Player with averages of 20.1 points, 7.1 rebounds, 3.4 assists, and 40 mins in 30 games played. Brown also averaged 24 points per game during the 2015 playoffs.
The final roster features four Canadian players; Warren Ward (London, ON), Clinton Springer-Williams (London, ON), Alex Campbell (Brampton, ON), and Noel Moffat (St. John’s, NL).
The Express will kick off the 2016-17 season on the road on Dec. 29th in Orangeville. The home opener will be the following night at the WFCU Centre, Dec. 30th vs. Orangeville at 7:00 PM.
