AKO FRATMEN TO TAKE ON U.S. SCHOOL
The AKO Fratmen Football Club will conclude its spring training camp with an exhibition game against the Geneva Golden Tornadoes.
Geneva College competes in the Presidents’ Athletic Conference, they are a division III school based in Beaver Falls, Pennsylvania. The Tornadoes have amassed a 6 wins and 1 loss record in bowl games. The last bowl win came in 2009 at the Victory Bowl, where they defeated Greenville College by a score of 29 – 28.
The Windsor AKO Fratmen have won three straight Ontario Football Conference championships. Last fall the Fratmen defeated the Ottawa Sooners in the title game by a score of 21- 11. The Fratmen have a 19 game winning streak entering this contest.
The game will be played at Windsor Stadium, Tuesday, May 10, 2016 at 7:00 p.m. Tickets will be available for $5.00 and can be purchased at the gate.
