Recreation Programs Reopening at the Atlas Tube Recreation Centre
Lakeshore continues to work within the Ontario Roadmap to Reopen framework for a phased return to outdoor and indoor recreation facility rentals and programming. As the Municipality works to reopen facilities and services, the health and safety of the public and municipal staff will be the primary focus. Preparations have begun to allow amenities to open in a safe and timely manner as staffing and resources allow.
The Atlas Tube Recreation Centre walking track is now open, reservations are encouraged as capacity is limited. The gymnasium is open for rentals with limited capacity.
Beginning Monday, July 26th the Shuren Rink will be open for ice rentals and the Pickleball program will reopen with limited capacity.
Beginning Wednesday, July 28th the pool will be open for lane swimming and aquafit classes only, reservations are encouraged due to limited capacity.
Rink C will be open for ice rentals on Monday, August 9th and the Rock Rink will be open September 13th.
Gym recreation programs will be open early August with limited capacities. Fitness classes and programs will also return to the Libro Centre in Woodslee and the Comber Community Centre in August, with limited capacities.
