Paolo Battisti, the 20-year-old LaSalle native went a perfect 3-0-0-0 in December, including a pair of wins over the third place Chatham Maroons.

The 6’4” netminder stopped 40 or more shots in two of his three wins, and 37 in another.

His strong play for the LaSalle Vipers resulted in a recent, one-game call up to the OHL’s Kitchener Rangers.

In his third and final season as a Viper, Battisti could finish his junior career as the team’s all-time leader in several major goaltending categories, including save percentage, goals against average and shutouts.

He helped lead the team to the Sutherland Cup Finals in 2015, posting 16 playoff wins.

Battisti will be recognized for his outstanding play in December prior to the Vipers next home game, Wednesday, Jan. 6 against the Lambton Shores Predators.

Game time is 7 pm. Tickets are available one hour before game time.
