Canton Lacrosse Special Scrimmage Held at University of Michigan

Canton Lacrosse players from its 78A Grade Team enjoyed the thrilling opportunity to play at the University of Michigan’s Lacrosse facility earlier this spring. For the past four years, Canton Lacrosse has enabled program participants to experience this unique opportunity.

This year, the game took place at the newly opened Michigan Lacrosse Stadium on April 21, 2018. The team took to the field vs the Ann Arbor Blue Jays prior to the University of Michigan vs Johns Hopkins game. At halftime, the Canton 5/6 grade team challenged the Ann Arbor 5/6 to a short scrimmage.

On April 25, all 7/8 graders participated in the PCEP High School Showcase at the turf field. According to US Lacrosse Association, this sport continues to be the fastest growing team sport in high schools and colleges in the US for the twelfth straight year.
