Four year old Mason Macri recently lost his battle with cancer.
Mason Macri was registered to play Teeball this season at McAuliffe Park in Tecumseh. Sadly Mason never got that chance.
The park committee decided to make Mason’s story and memory a permanent part of McAuliffe Park and on Saturday, August 13, 2016 during their “Day of Champions” (for baseball and soccer leagues) a tree at the park was dedicated in Mason’s memory.
Mason’s family is also starting a Cancer Foundation in his name. Free will donations were accepted at the dedication and all proceeds will go to the family to help kick-start this foundation.
For more information call Park President, Frank Perissinotti, 519-735-6635.
