  • Scored 14-or-more points in the 29th-straight home game, the second-longest active streak in the NFL and longest streak in team history.
  • Held the opposition to under 60 rushing yards in three-straight games, the longest active streak in the NFL. They are the only team in the NFL to hold opponents to less than 60 yards rushing in three straight games this season. This is the first time the Lions have done so since the 2013 season, when they pulled off four consecutive games. Prior to 2013, the Lions last held opponents to fewer than 60 rushing yards in three-straight games in the 1970-71 seasons.
  • Have totaled 32.0 sacks in 11 games this season, their most sacks through 11 games since recording 34.0 through 11 games in the 1999 season.
  • Notched their sixth-game with 3.0-or-more sacks this season, the second-highest total in the NFL. This is the most 3.0-sack games they’ve posted through Week 12 since registering six such games in the 2004 season.
  • Recorded an 85-yard rusher and 85-yard receiver for the second consecutive game (RB LeGarrette Blount rushed for 88 rushing yards; WR Kenny Golladay finished with 90 receiving yards). The last time the Lions had a rusher with 85-plus yards and a receiver with 85-plus yards in consecutive games was in Weeks 6-7 of the 2006 season.

LIONS HEAD COACH MATT PATRICIA
Opening Statement:
“Obviously, not the way we wanted that thing to end. It’s a good team over there, Chicago. They’ve done a good job all year. Played us tough all the way to the end and made some plays when they needed to at the end, which were critical for their football team, and we didn’t. So, we have to get back at it and go back to work. So, we have a lot to do, a lot to improve on, and things that we’re continually trying to get better at. There’s not a lot of time to sit around and feel sorry for ourselves. We have one of the best teams in the NFL coming in here next week. So, have to get it fixed, have to get it corrected, and we have to get back out there and go compete. That’s just where we’re at.”

LIONS RB LeGARRETTE BLOUNT
On what separates this team from other championship teams he’s been on:
“We’re not winning, it sucks. We’re not playing good football. We’re not playing complementary (football). Things aren’t going our way, so you have to take luck out of the game, and take over the game yourself, and put yourself in the best position to win the game and we didn’t do that.”

LIONS LB JARRAD DAVIS
On the disappointment with the game’s result:
“Honestly, it’s just coming down to us not being able to do enough, right.  We got to do more defensively, we’ve got to make sure we put our offense in better positions, we got to make sure that we continue to work hard and we’re out there on the field, and not give up easy plays.  Because you know just as much as we did, we still gave up a lot of plays defensively, so we’ll make sure we do more on our end.”

LIONS WR KENNY GOLLADAY
On his frustration with the Bears defense during the fourth quarter:
“I mean, it’s frustrating, but, you know, we continue to keep our heads up and keep grinding. We had a shot down there to tie it up and we just came up a little short.”

LIONS DT RICKY JEAN FRANCOIS
On why people should believe the Lions can beat the Rams after not being able to beat Bears QB Chase Daniel
: “But everybody is looking at Chase Daniel as a backup quarterback, but who won the Super Bowl? It doesn’t matter if you’re a backup quarterback in this league. Every quarterback in this league can step up and do a job. Each team picks a certain guy that backs up and does the job great. Chase Daniel is that guy who did a great job for the Chicago Bears, so I take my hat off. He did a good job, but never look at just because it’s a backup quarterback because at a point last year, I was playing against a guy that’s a backup that’s now the MVP of the Super Bowl. So being that backup don’t mean nothing, you just have to go out and execute against guys like Chase.”

LIONS S GLOVER QUIN
On what makes today’s loss difficult:
“It’s just a loss. It’s a divisional opponent, Thanksgiving game—we know what Thanksgiving means to the city of Detroit and we didn’t deliver a win today.”

LIONS TE MICHAEL ROBERTS
On if he felt like he was interfered with in the end zone:
“I felt like he was definitely into me, but good play by him. That was the call, it doesn’t matter how I feel, just what the refs see and what he feels.”

LIONS QB MATTHEW STAFFORD
On how disappointing his two turnovers were:
“Tough, yeah. Obviously can’t have them. (Bears DB Eddie) Jackson made a good play on the first one, still got to see him a little better than I did. And then second one, I know we had four chances at it there. Put it in where I thought was going to be a good spot and just wasn’t, so.”
