Game one of the double header saw Miguel Cabrera hit his 3,000 MLB hit at his first at bat, a grounder to right field, in the 6th he would hit another single to drive in two runs, enroute to a Tigers 13-0 blowout.

Cabrera moved up the all time list to the #32 spot, tying the great Roberto Clemente, and then with his 3001 hit in the 6th, he took sole possession of #32.

Cabrera sits just five hits shy of tying fellow Tigers legend Al Kaline.
