THE DRIVE ROSTER FINALIZED FOR FRIDAY’S MATCH-UP

The Drive roster, the NBA D-League Affiliate of the Detroit Pistons has been finalized for opening night of the 2016-17 season.

The Drive’s roster totals two (2) Pistons assigned players, three (3) affiliate players, three (3) players selected from the 2016 NBA D-League Draft, two (2) returning players, and four (4) local tryout players.

Paul Williams and Ladarius Tabb were waived on Nov. 6. Mamadou N’Diaye and Matthew Adekponye were both waived today Nov. 10. Shannon Brown has been waived due to being physically unable to play at this time.

The Grand Rapids Drive have home court advantage when they host the Canton Charge (Cleveland Cavaliers Affiliate) tomorrow Friday, Nov. 11 for a 7:00 PM tip-off (doors open at 6:00 PM) at the DeltaPlex Arena. Tomorrow’s game is sponsored by U.S. Army and will honor current and former military members as part of Veterans Day.

Tomorrow’s game kicks-off several things for the Drive as it’s the first of our ‘Friday Night Out’ series presented by Buffalo Wild Wings, featuring prizes and giveaways from Buffalo Wild Wings all night long. The game will have special appearances by Pistons own Hooper and famous Dancing Usher and will mark the return for Eric Zane to the Grand Rapids Drive and the public address announcer.
