Erie Otters Advance to Memorial Cup Final

Darren Raddysh scored two goals and Troy Timpano made 20 saves as the Erie Otters doubled-up the Saint John Sea Dogs 6-3 in the semi-final of the 2017 Memorial Cup tournament.

With the win, the Otters (3-1) have advanced  to the 2017 Memorial Cup championship game on Sunday night against the host team Windsor Spitfires (3-0)

Taylor Raddysh, German Poddubnyi, Dylan Strome and Warren Foegele had the other goals for the Ontario Hockey League champions, who will be looking to avenge their only loss of the tournament to the Spitfires.

Joe Veleno, Julien Gauthier and Thomas Chabot replied for the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League champion Sea Dogs (1-3) while Callum Booth made 31 saves.

The Erie Otters and Windsor Spitfires face-off at 7 p.m. Sunday to decide the 2017 Memorial Cup champion.
