Leamington flyers To Battle St. Mary’s lincolns For Western Crown
The Leamington Flyers are in the GOJHL Western Conference Finals for a second straight year after dismantling LaSalle in the semi-finals.
Leamington has run the table so far in the post season, sweeping both their opening round matchup against Sarnia and the Vipers in Round 2.
But they aren’t the only ones to do so.
The St. Mary’s Lincolns come into this final matchup with back to back sweeps over the Strathroy Rockets and the London Nationals.
The Flyers got the best of the Lincolns in their season series, going 3-2-1-0, including two wins in February at the end of the regular season.
Connor MacPherson posted six goals in games against the Lincolns, including a hat trick on February 24th. He also had two assists. Ryan MacPherson netted three goals and four assists, while Koen Taves had five helpers.
Bryce Walcarius went 2-0-1 against his former club between the pipes.
