The downtown event will continue the celebration with live music and extended patios.
“We’re getting closer to the NFL Draft in Detroit, and to ‘Windsor’s NFL Draft Party’, which will include a free football skills and coaching clinic for local youth on the front lawn of City Hall. Youth sports play a vital role in our community. Having local NFL players like Luke, Brett, Dakoda, OJ, and Ed coming home to join in the festivities helps to showcase youth sports programs, while encouraging a greater involvement in sports, recreation, and healthy and active living in our community. Sincere thanks to local superstar coaches Dan Hogan and Rob McIntyre for assembling the best players and coaches in the region to help make this activity, and the overall event possible. Thanks also to Windsor Minor Football, Essex Ravens, St. Clair Saints, and Windsor Lancers for your amazing support of this initiative, and to our sponsors and partners, including NFL Canada, for helping to bring this celebration to life.”
