THIS WEEK AT MILAN DRAGWAY JUNE 22-26

Last Friday, organizers couldn’t have dreamt up better weather for the Harleys at the Dragway event. With all the bikes and the band, it made for a great night!

Saturday’s NAPA #SuperSaturday event was a good time as it always is. Sunday’s NHRA King of the Track race had bracket racers bringing their A-games.

Ron Raymond took the win, not only in the Super Pro Motorcycle class, but also in the run off making Raymond the 2016 King of the Track. On his journey to that title, he took out Will Crawford, the Super Pro winner, in his dragster during first round of the runoff. Ron Raymond was on his game with a .009 light and Crawford just didn’t have enough for him that round. Marlon Howes, Sportsman winner, took out the camaro of Damien Hazelton, Pro winner, before meeting Ron Raymond in the final. When it came time for the final, Howes went red giving Ron Raymond the win!

This Saturday at Liberty’s Gears No ET Nationals Milan is having a new kind of shootout…. The CPR Racing One Rule $3000 Shootout! What’s the one rule? No class cars. This should make for some cool racing.
