Milan Dragway This Week Oct 12 – 16
Sunday was the 4th race of the Fall Mini Series and saw some tough competition among the points chasers and non-points racers alike. Dave Remus took an easy win in Masta Performance Pro as Dustin Loynes broke and was unable to make the final round. Remus was -.014 red so luckily Loynes wasn’t in the other lane to take advantage of that.
David Davis took the win in Insurance Man Super Pro, unfortunately after having to buy back into the race so he didn’t wrack up the points with that win, but he did get the cash and the race win when he took out Jack Kassin who had a perfect light but didn’t run the number. Davis’s light wasn’t bad either though at a .009. Wes Buckley won his second race in a row this week in Sportsman class against David Goll. Buckley running closer to his dial in made up for the slight reaction time advantage that Goll had off the line.
In Super Pro Motorcycle, Joe Novak Jr finally gave Joe Novak Sr his first round and race loss since the mini-series began. That’s right… four races in and Joe Novak Sr won the first three and was runner up in the 4th. He has the points locked up, but the second place position is still up for grabs.
Only one race remaining in the Fall Mini Series so expect to see more tough competition.
Join in this week for testing, the final Harley race, and the final Fall Mini Series race.
Don’t forget things are starting at 3 PM for this month’s Harleys at the Dragwway instead of the usual 5 PM!! Come out early and enjoy the day!
