NHL NEWS JAN 22 – OILERS ROUT FLAMES TO SWEEP BATTLE OF ALBERTA
Oilers lit up the Flames last night with 7-3 win. Jordan Eberle (2-2—4) matched a career high with four points as the Oilers extended their point streak to six games (5-0-1) and swept their four-game season series vs. CGY.
Connor McDavid scored the game-winning goal and leads the NHL with 16-40—56 this season (49 GP).
Laurent Brossoit, a sixth-round selection (164th overall) by the Flames in the 2011 NHL Draft, made 38 saves to register the first victory of his NHL career (7 GP).
