  • Capitals goaltender Braden Holtby earned his 128th career victory to tie Don Beaupre for second place on the Capitals franchise wins list behind leader Olie Kolzig (301).

    Blue Jackets forward Josh Anderson, a fourth-round selection (95th overall) in the 2012 NHL Draft, scored his first career goal (11 GP).

    Penguins forward Tom Kuhnhackl and Wild defenseman Mike Reilly both made their League debut.

    Claude Julien (BOS) served his 900th career game as an NHL head coach.

  • Playing in his 800th career game, Ovechkin registered his 103rd career multi-goal performance (third this season) to move within one of 500 career goals. He also extended his franchise records for game-winning goals (85) and overtime goals (16) – the most in the NHL in both categories since 2005-06 (his first season in the League).
  • Sharks goaltender Martin Jones registered his 11th career shutout (67 GP) and fourth this season – tied for third in the League behind Corey Crawford (6) and Jake Allen (5)
  • Kings goaltender Jonathan Quick (15 SV) had his winning streak snapped at seven games, but earned a point for the eighth straight contest dating to Dec. 26 (7-0-1)
  • Hurricanes forward Kris Versteeg (1-0—1) recorded his 300th career point (122-178—300)
  • Coyotes forward Antoine Vermette (1-1—2) scored his 200th NHL goal.
