ANOTHER 20-WIN SEASON FOR QUICK
Jonathan Quick made 21 saves to help the Kings rally from a 2-0 deficit and snap a six-game slide (0-6-0). Quick improved to 20-16-2 this season (2.34 GAA, .924 SV%, 3 SO) and reached the 20-win mark for the eighth time in his NHL career (all w/ LAK).

Quick (Milford, Conn.) extended his franchise record for most 20-win campaigns by a goaltender and became the sixth U.S.-born netminder in NHL history to record 20 victories in at least eight seasons, joining Tom Barrasso (11), Mike Richter (10), John Vanbiesbrouck (10), Frank Brimsek (9) and Ryan Miller (9).

KONECNY POWERS PHILADELPHIA PAST WASHINGTON
Travis Konecny scored 27 seconds into overtime to power Philadelphia past Washington and to a 7-1-0 record in its last eight games. Konecny (20 years, 316 days) became the youngest player in franchise history to score a regular-season overtime goal, eclipsing the mark set by Eric Lindros (20 years, 347 days) on Feb. 10, 1994 vs. FLA (4-3 OT W).

GOLDEN KNIGHTS TAKE OVER FIRST PLACE IN NHL STANDINGS
Five different skaters found the back of the net and Marc-Andre Fleury made 27 saves to help the Golden Knights improve to 31-11-4 (66 points) this season and leapfrog the idle Lightning (31-12-3, 65 points) for first place in the NHL standings. Vegas moved within two wins of tying the NHL record for most by a team in its inaugural season – with 36 games remaining in its 2017-18 campaign.

Fleury improved to 11-3-2 this season (1.68 GAA, .946 SV%, 2 SO) and leads the NHL in goals-against average and save percentage among netminders to appear in at least 15 games. He also earned his 386th career win to pass Mike Vernon (385) for sole possession of 14th place on the NHL’s all-time list among goaltenders – three behind Dominik Hasek (389) for 13th.

Colin Miller collected 1-2—3 and boosted his totals to 6-18—24 this season (46 GP). He is one of eight Golden Knights skaters who have established single-season career highs for points in 2017-18 (also William Karlsson, Alex Tuch, Nate Schmidt, Shea Theodore, Brendan Leipsic, Brad Hunt and Thomas Nosek).

THORNTON PASSES TROTTIER IN SHARKS WIN
Joe Thornton collected 1-1—2 to help the Sharks improve to 5-1-0 in their last six games.

Thornton leapfrogged Bryan Trottier for sole possession of 16th place on the NHL’s all-time points list. He also moved within four assists of tying Mario Lemieux (1,033) for 11th place on the NHL’s all-time list.

Aaron Dell (33 saves) improved to 10-0-2 in his last 12 decisions dating to Nov. 24 (2.18 GAA, .931 SV%, 1 SO), including wins in each of his last four appearances.
