After very successful regular season, St. Clair College Men’s Varsity Soccer Head to 2016 OCAA Soccer Championship

The Saints are departing on Wednesday afternoon for Ancaster where Redeemer University College is hosting the event.

St. Clair will play its first match on Thursday at 12 pm in the Quarterfinals against the Niagara Knights. St. Clair finished the regular season with a record of 7-1-2 and in tie for first place with Fanshawe in the OCAA West Division. However, the Saints earned the bye and first place by virtue of a goal differential tie breaker.

Niagara finished with a record of 3-5-2 in the very tough and competitive central division. St. Clair is currently ranked 3rd in Ontario and 10th in Canada.

The Saints were led offensively by Stefan Milidrag who scored 9 goals in 10 games played. St. Clair scored 24 goals and only allowed 7 in 10 matches.
