CALL FOR VOLUNTEERS OUELLETTE CAR CRUISE

It’s that time again and another fantastic downtown Windsor event is set to take place! The Downtown Windsor BIA will host the inaugural Ouellette Car Cruise on Friday August 19th and we need your help!

The 2016 Ouellette Car Cruise is a social event recognizing our city’s place as the automotive capital of Canada, and will include vintage, classic, custom, collector, retro and special interest cars, street rods and muscle cars.

Participants will rendezvous at Riverfront Festival Plaza beginning at 12:00 pm on Friday August 19, and the Cruise kicks off at 5:00 pm down Ouellette Avenue and runs until 11:00 pm. Participation is free and all are welcome to join us in reminiscing yesteryear.

We are seeking 30 volunteers, aged 16+, to fill many positions including: set up; tear down; traffic control, general help; the Rendezvous and the Cruise.

High school students are also encouraged to participate and earn hours toward their community service involvement component. The 2016 Ouellette Car Cruise volunteers play an integral role in the event organization and help us in our endeavors to create memorable visitor experiences.

Deadline for submissions is Friday August 12 at 4 pm.
