DETROIT PISTONS TO HOST FOURTH ANNUAL PISTONS FIT 5K RACE

The Detroit Pistons are seeking all runners, walkers and fit fanatics in Metro Detroit to participate in the fourth annual Pistons FIT 5K race on Sunday, October 9 at The Palace. Experience the thrill of Detroit Basketball while crossing the finish line inside the arena on the Pistons hardwood. The Pistons FIT 5K emphasizes the importance of an active and healthy lifestyle.

Participants are encouraged to pre-register online by October 7 to take advantage of the pre-registration fee of $35.  On-site registration begins on October 9 at 7:30 a.m. with a fee of $40 per participant. Runners will receive a Pistons FIT 5K t-shirt, a participation medal and one complimentary Pistons ticket to the 2016-17 home opener on October 28. Additional tickets will be available for purchase at a discounted price.

Join members of the Detroit Pistons Entertainment Team for post-race entertainment inside The Palace. Complimentary snacks and beverages will be provided for all participants, including one complimentary beverage for participants 21 & older.

A portion of proceeds will go to the Detroit Pistons Foundation benefiting organizations throughout Metro Detroit.
