  • Avalanche forward Jarome Iginla scored his 609th career goal to pass Dino Ciccarelli (608) for sole possession of 17th on the NHL’s all-time list. Iginla (20-24—44) reached the 20-goal mark for the 17th time in his NHL career. Per Elias, only Jaromir Jagr (19) has recorded more 20-goal seasons among active players.
  • Claude Julien coached his 700th career regular-season game as head coach of the Bruins.
  • Avalanche captain Gabriel Landeskog (1-1—2) scored the 100th goal of his NHL career. Landeskog (20-31—51) also reached the 20-goal mark for the third consecutive season and fourth time in his NHL career.
  • Blackhawks forward Patrick Kane collected 1-1—2 to reach the 40-goal mark for the first time in his NHL career and continues to pace the League with 40-56—96 this season. Per Elias, he became the first Blackhawks player to reach the 40-goal mark in a season since Tony Amonte (43) in 1999-00.
  • At 55-16-6 (116 points), the Capitals established a franchise record for wins in one season, eclipsing the previous total of 54 from 2009-10 (54-15-13, 121 points).The Capitals became the 10th team in NHL history to register 55 or more wins in one season:
