St. Clair College Women’s Basketball Snag Local Recruit

The St. Clair College Women’s Basketball team has announced the commitment of Nyra Brown-Henderson (Windsor, ON) heading into the 2022-23 season.

Brown-Henderson is a 5’10” Kennedy Collegiate product with Windsor Valiants and Baron United club playing experience. Capable of playing the small forward or guard positions she was named the Best Defensive Player at Kennedy while helping the Clippers to an OFSAA Silver Medal.

Saints Head Coach Andy Kiss praised, “Nyra is a fantastic athlete with a high-level motor to match. With her length and athleticism, she can guard multiple positions on the floor. She will no doubt be an impact player in our defensive scheme.”

“Nyra is a bit of late bloomer, but she has a tremendous upside and further we love the fact that she comes from a winning culture at Kennedy Collegiate”, Kiss finished.

Brown-Henderson will be starting academically in St. Clair’s Honours Bachelor of Applied Arts in Social Justice and Legal Studies program this fall.
