St. Clair Green Giants Recap June 29 2017 – GG Drop Tough Game To Clippers 8 – 4

The St. Clair Green Giants dropped another decision to the Muskegon Clippers Thursday evening by a score of 8-4. 

The loss marks the fourth time the Clippers have beaten the Green Giants this season.

The Clippers struck first on a Nolan Bryant RBI single in the top of the 1st inning. 

The Green Giants responded with a 3 run 4th inning highlighted by an Adam Tanoue  2 run home run to put St. Clair ahead 3-1. 

St. Clair looked to be cruising to another victory until the 7th inning, when Muskegon led off the inning with a home run of their own and followed it up with 3 more hits to put up 6 runs in the frame. 

The Green Giants had one more chance to get back into the game trailing 7-4 with the bases loaded but were unable to get a timely hit. 

With the loss St. Clair falls to 13-7 and will now begin a long road trip, starting with the Grand River Loggers in GrandHaven, Michigan over the weekend.
