St. Clair Women’s Soccer Earn Big Point
The St. Clair women’s soccer team earned a big point on Tuesday night as they tied the unbeaten Mohawk Mountaineers 2-2 on the road in Hamilton.
Goal scorers for St. Clair were Jaclyn French and Cassie Nicholas.
With the draw the Saints are now 1-2-1 on the season while Mohawk slipped to 3-0-1. Mohawk had not allowed a goal against in their first 3 matches.
The Saints women are next in action on Saturday when they travel to Sarnia to take on the Lambton Lions.
Huge Win for St. Clair Men’s Soccer
The St. Clair men’s soccer team earned a huge win on Tuesday night defeating the Mohawk Mountaineers 5-0 on the road in Hamilton.
Korede Adepitan (Toronto) led the way for the Saints with a hat trick. Evan Mendonca (West Lorne) and Jagger Schives (Tilbury) rounded out the scoring. Petar Mar Burnhoft (Iceland) had a solid game in goal earning the clean sheet.
With the win the Saints are now 1-3 on the season while Mohawk slipped to 1-3. St. Clair had suffered some tough luck in earlier matches losing 2 matches by one goal late in the games.
The Saints men are next in action on Saturday when they travel to Sarnia to take on the Lambton Lions.
