The women will take to the floor at 1 pm. The St. Clair women are currently 5-4 on the season and in 6th place in the very competitive OCAA West Division while Redeemer is 4-5 sitting in 7th place. The top 6 teams qualify for the playoffs. The Royals beat the Saints 3-2 in their first match of the season at Ancaster in a very tight affair.

The Saints have spread their offense around well all season but are currently led by Shalena Horst who is averaging 3.5 points/set. The women are coming off a strong showing at the Adidas Cup Tournament at Durham College last weekend placing 3rd out of 14 teams.

The men will take to the floor at 3 pm. A young St. Clair men’s team has struggled this season after coming off their first ever OCAA volleyball medal last year winning a silver medal and placing 4th at Nationals. The Saints lost their entire starting lineup to graduation along with their top 8 point getters. The Saints are currently 2-7 on the season and in 8th place while Redeemer is 6-3 and sitting in 5th place.

St. Clair fell to the Royals 3-0 in their first match of the season but the match featured an exciting first set with Redeemer winning 31-29. Rookie right side hitter Michael Knight who is averaging 3.2 points/set has led the way for the Saints so far. Second year middle Justin Fisher is also having a strong season with 2.5 points/set.
