PISTONS GUARD SPENCER DINWIDDIE HEADED TO THE DRIVE, THIRD TRIP TO NBA D-LEAGUE.

The Detroit Pistons have assigned guard Spencer Dinwiddie to the Drive, the team’s NBA Development League (D-League) affiliate, the team announced today.

Dinwiddie has appeared in nine games with the Pistons this season averaging 4.4 points, 1.0 rebounds and 1.4 assists in 12.3 minutes per game.

The Drive will begin play in the annual NBA D-League Showcase starting tomorrow.
