EVERY GAME COUNTS AS TIGERS RETURN HOME FOR FINAL REGULAR SEASON HOMESTAND AGAINST ROYALS AND INDIANS BEGINNING SEPTEMBER 23RD AT COMERICA PARK

The Tigers return to Comerica Park for their final regular season homestand beginning Friday, September 23 through Thursday, September 29 as they host the Kansas City Royals September 23-25 and the Cleveland Indians September 26-29. Friday’s game against the Royals is scheduled for 7:10 p.m., while Saturday and Sunday’s games are scheduled for 1:05 p.m. and 1:10 p.m., respectively.

On Saturday September 24 the Tigers celebrate the 2006 AL Championship 10th Anniversary: Magglio Ordoñez will participate in a pregame Q&A session with fans from 11:45 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in the Big Cat Court as part of the 2006 AL Championship 10th Anniversary celebration and throw out the ceremonial first pitch. Ordoñez will also sign autographs at 9:30 a.m. in The D Shop. Tickets are available online at tigers.com/autographs prior to the signing or in The D Shop the day of the signing. All signatures will be authenticated by Major League Baseball. 

On Monday September 26 the ceremonial first pitche will be thrown by Ty Cobb’s granddaughter, Cindy Cobb
The Tigers close out the homestand with a four-game series against the Indians with the first three games against the Indians slated for 7:10 p.m. and the final regular season home game on Thursday starting at 1:10 p.m.
