Windsor City FC / TFC Announces Official Partnership with Vardar Michigan

Windsor City FC / TFC has announced a new strategic partnership with Vardar Michigan, one of the most prestigious youth soccer organizations in the United States. This cross-border collaboration will create a unique development pathway for local players aged 8 to 12, allowing them to represent Windsor-based teams while competing in elite Michigan youth leagues during the fall and spring seasons.

Through this initiative, Windsor athletes will gain access to elevated levels of competition, a manageable travel schedule, and the invaluable experience of representing their city on a broader developmental stage, all while remaining rooted in the Ontario soccer ecosystem.

“We are pleased to provide this exclusive opportunity to Windsor TFC and look forward to supporting the growth our cross-border friends are creating in their Ontario pathway.” – Morris Lupenec, Club Director of Vardar Michigan

“This is an important part of the training and development pathway to keep players in the Ontario ecosystem while taking advantage of playing opportunities right in our backyard,” added Vancho Cirovski, Director of Windsor City FC / TFC. “Our personal relationships with Vardar leadership go back many years and we’re pleased to make this connection more formal to the benefit of our soccer community.”

Indoor training on turf will also be part of the winter plan for this age group and the entire WinCityFC / TFC player pool. Stay tuned for updates!
