Windsor Clippers hammer Pacers after Sunday’s loss in Guelph.

Windsor Clippers responded with an excellent bounce-back game against the Point Edward Pacers.

The Clippers led 4-1 after the first period on a pair of goals by Ryan Marchand and singles by Dylan Riley and Blaine Wallace.

In the second period it was total domination by the Clippers, who scored 8 times in the frame and did not surrender a goal .Andrew Garants, Liam LeClair and James Morgan each scored twice in the period with singles added by Logan Holmes and Ryan Marchand with his third of the game. Starting goaltender Brayden Bell was replaced after 40 minutes of play, surrendering only one goal on 19 shots.

In the third period the teams traded five goals each. Scoring for the Clippers in the third period were Ryan Marchand (his fourth), Craig Marentette, Liam LeClair (his third), Andrew Garant (his third), and Dylan Riley. Mike Cameron gave up 5 goals on 12 shots in goal for the Clippers in the third period.

The win improves the Clippers to 9-2 on the season. Next up for the Clippers is the Elora Mohawks who make their way to town on Saturday night. Game time is 7:00 pm
