WINDSOR CLIPPERS JUNE 6 RECAP – CLIPPERS EDGE RED DEVILS
The Windsor Clippers edged the Wallaceburg Red Devils at home on Thursday night 10-7. The Clippers played from behind for 54 minutes and took their first lead of the game with 4:36 to play in the third period. Max Payton and Blain Wallace scored three goals each to lead the Clippers offense. Jackman Schooley scored a pair of goals while singles were scored by Nathan Salaris and Connor McManus.
Chase Cosgrove earned the victory in goal for the Clippers. Cosgrove stopped 25 of Wallaceburg’s 32 shots.
The Clippers win improves the team to a record of 12-3-2 on the season. The Clippers will close out the regular season with three road games next week. The Clippers will be in Point Edward on Thursday night, Six Nations on Friday night and Elora on Sunday night. The playoff schedule will be announced as soon as it is available.
