WINDSOR CLIPPERS MAY 18 2019 RECAP – CLIPPER AND BENGALS TIE
The Windsor Clippers battled the Hamilton Bengals to a 9-9 overtime tie on Saturday night at Forest Glade arena
The Clippers trailed 7-3 going into the third period, and battled to force overtime. The Clippers scored first in OT, and were 90 seconds away from stealing the win, but a Hamilton power play goal tied it 9-9, and that’s how it ended. The tie puts the Clippers at 7-2-2 on the season.
Blain Wallace scores 4 times for the Clippers and Max Payton scored 3 times. Singles were scored by Aaron Dugan and Kaden Brennan.
Carson Hebner was solid in goal for the Clippers making 45 saves.
The Clippers hit the road next weekend for a pair of games in Welland and St. Catherines
The Clippers next home game will be played on Thursday, May 30th when the London Blue Devils come to town. Game time at Forest Glade arena is 8:00 pm.
