Windsor TFC Academy players to try out for Toronto FC Academy teams
Windsor TFC has four players from the club’s Academy that have been invited to train for three days at Toronto FC’s Kia Training Ground. The players were chosen from a pool of close to 40 players at recent trial sessions held by Toronto FC staff.
The players who will attend the training sessions are Shihab Al-Khulaidy, Shervin Molahassani, Paul Di Meo, and Gianni Ferri.
Additionally, several Windsor TFC coaches will be involved in a series of training and coaching sessions to test their readiness for the next level.
The tryouts and coaching clinics will take place from Friday, October 21 through Sunday, October 23.
“This session is an example of the level of commitment Toronto FC is making in support of youth development at the local level,” said Vancho Cirovski, President of Windsor TFC. “We are excited about the opportunity it presents for these kids, and many more as we move forward.”
Windsor TFC is a pro-am and youth elite soccer club which participates in League1 Ontario, the premier soccer league in the province.
