Windsor TFC Appointment of Zibby Piatkiewicz as Head Coach

Windsor TFC and team president Vancho Cirovski have announced the appointment of Zibby Piatkiewicz as head coach of the League 1 Ontario franchise, effective immediately. Piatkiewicz holds a National B Coaching license from Canada Soccer.

“Zibby’s commitment and qualifications are a tremendous fit for our program,” said Cirovski. “We look forward to a long term relationship and success with his guidance.”

Piatkiewicz grew up in the Windsor soccer community as a long-time member of Polonia White Eagles before moving to the Windsor Lancers. At UWindsor, he moved into coaching under Steve Hart, and also became a youth coach with LaSalle Soccer Club.

The young coach is now preparing Windsor TFC for its League 1 Ontario home opener on April 28 (7:30pm) at the University of Windsor’s Alumni Field.
