St. Clair head coach Kris Geier is looking forward to adding these six players on the team next year. “We are extremely excited about the upcoming season at St. Clair. I believe we have recruited some of the best high school players in Windsor/Essex County. It is a well rounded recruiting class with strikers, midfielders and defenders among this group. The key for us will be how well these players transition into our system and the level of play at the OCAA. With only 4 players returning from last year’s squad, these recruits will have to step right in and perform on a daily basis. With the talent these girls have, I am hoping for a seamless transition into the OCAA league. The future definitely looks very bright not only for the players but the entire women’s soccer program at St. Clair College.”
St. Clair finished the regular season with a record of 7-1-2 in the OCAA West Division ending up in 2nd place in women’s outdoor soccer. St. Clair hosted the OCAA championships ending the tournament losing in the consolation final. The indoor team had a very strong season finishing with a record of 15-2-2 and winning the OCAA Silver Medals.
