Playoff MVP Beaudoin rejoins Vipers LaSalle native helped team to Sutherland Cup Finals.
Veteran forward Daniel Beaudoin is welcomed back by the The LaSalle Vipers, who rejoined the team from the OHL’s Windsor Spitfires today.
“Dan’s played with us for a couple of years and he can be used in any situation,” says Bowler. “He had a very strong playoff last year, he’s had two good years in LaSalle and the addition is going to be a big boost.”
Beaudoin, 19, helped lead the Vipers to the 2015 Sutherland Cup Finals, posting 32 post-season points and earning Playoff MVP honours.
The LaSalle native turned that strong campaign into a free agent invitation to the Windsor Spitfires training camp, where his hard-working attitude earned him a spot on their roster.
Beaudoin accumulated three goals and eight points in 36 games and became a fixture on the Spitfires penalty killing unit.
He has played 122 career GOJHL games, all for LaSalle, posting 51 goals and 113 points. He was selected to play in the 2014-15 GOJHL Top Prospects Game.
Beaduoin will be in the lineup Sunday afternoon, wearing his familiar number 43, when the Vipers take on the London Nationals at 2:30 pm at the Vollmer Centre.
In a related move, rookie forward Michael Ruttinger, 17, was assigned to the Lakeshore Jr. C Canadiens. The LaSalle native posted two goals and five points in 24 games.
