Event To Feature Four Longtime Division Rivals In Two Regular-Season Outdoor Games at New Jersey’s MetLife Stadium

The event will feature four NHL teams – the New Jersey Devils, Philadelphia Flyers, New York Rangers and New York Islanders – playing in two outdoor games taking place on Feb. 17-18. On Saturday, Feb. 17, the Devils will play host to the Flyers at 8 p.m. ET (ABC, ESPN+, SN360, TVAS2) and on Sunday, Feb. 18 the Rangers will face off against the Islanders at 3 p.m. ET (ABC, ESPN+, SN, TVAS).

The 2024 Navy Federal Credit Union NHL Stadium Series will feature the 40th and 41st NHL regular-season outdoor games, and will be the third and fourth such contests scheduled for the 2023-24 NHL regular-season.

The event is expected to showcase some of the League’s top talents, including Jack Hughes and Nico Hischier of the Devils; Travis Konecny and Sean Couturier of the Flyers; Jacob Trouba and Adam Fox of the Rangers; and Anders Lee and Ilya Sorokin of the Islanders.

All four teams playing in the 2024 Navy Federal Credit Union NHL Stadium Series have played in regular-season outdoor games. The Flyers have played in five regular-season outdoor games (1-3-1), the Rangers have played in four (4-0-0), and both the Devils (0-1-0) and Islanders (0-1-0) have played in one such game. The event will mark the first time four NHL teams have played outdoor games at the same venue in front of fans.

Feb. 17 Concert to Take Place Inside MetLife Stadium Before New Jersey Devils Host Division Rivals Philadelphia Flyers

The National Hockey League announced the 2024 Navy Federal Credit Union NHL Stadium Series will feature an opening concert by platinum-certified, GRAMMY Award-nominated group Jonas Brothers before the New Jersey Devils and the Philadelphia Flyers face off on Saturday, Feb. 17.

Garden State natives and New Jersey Devils fans, Jonas Brothers – Nick Jonas, Joe Jonas and Kevin Jonas – will take the stage for the concert featuring a full set of their greatest hits, including songs from their newest release, The Album. The band will return to the stage for another performance during the second intermission of the Devils-Flyers game.

Multi-Platinum Chart-Topping Band AJR to Perform at 2024 Navy Federal Credit Union NHL Stadium Series Game on Sunday

The NHL announced the 2024 Navy Federal Credit Union NHL Stadium Series regular-season outdoor game on Sunday, Feb. 18 at MetLife Stadium will feature award-winning indie pop band AJR in an intermission performance during the outdoor matchup between the New York Rangers and New York Islanders.

AJR, born and raised New Yorkers who recently released their fifth studio album The Maybe Man and are set to headline Madison Square Garden on the The Maybe Man Tour this summer, will take the stage between the first and second period to play their biggest hits during the Rangers-Islanders game.

The game will be broadcast live at 3 p.m. ET on ABC and ESPN+ in the U.S. and on SN and TVAS in Canada. AJR’s performance will be featured in the broadcast.

In addition to the Rangers-Islanders game on Sunday, Feb. 18, the 2024 Navy Federal Credit Union NHL Stadium Series will feature another regular-season outdoor game on Saturday, Feb. 17 featuring the New Jersey Devils and Philadelphia Flyers at 8 p.m. ET on ABC and ESPN+, SN360 and TVAS. Global superstar band Jonas Brothers will perform an opening concert ahead of the Devils-Flyers game.
