Express Earn First Road Win 114-108 Over Titans

The Windsor Express travelled to Kitchener to take on the Kitchener-Waterloo Titans on Tuesday at The Aud. This was the Express’ first match-up against the expansion club.

Windsor, who was winless in three previous road games this season, was looking to snap a two-game losing streak on Tuesday.

It was a back-and-forth match-up that saw both teams each own 10+ point leads at different times in the game. Even when the Express pulled ahead in the 4th quarter for good, the Titans brought it back within 4 points to keep it interesting for the home town fans.

When the final buzzer sounded it was Windsor who would walk away with the 114-108 victory.

Quinnel Brown led all scorers with a game-high 26 points. He flirted with a triple-double adding 9 rebounds, and 6 assists.

Warren Ward poured in 20 points & 5 rebounds while knocking down 4 three-pointers.

Brandan Kearney and Wally Ellenson each added 16 points for Windsor.

Kitchener-Waterloo was led by Ricky Tarrant with 20 points. Seven different Titans’ players scored in double digits.

The Windsor Express schedule has them return home for a rematch against the KW Titans this Friday January 13th at the WFCU Centre. Tip-off is 7:00 PM.
